At ZenPrimary, your privacy matters. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Information We Collect
Personal Information — name, email, phone, and other details you provide when contacting us or submitting a listing.
Usage Data — IP address, browser, pages visited, and analytics signals.
Cookies — to improve experience and track preferences.
2. How We Use It
- Provide and improve our services.
- Process listings and user accounts.
- Communicate with you about updates or support.
- Prevent fraud, misuse, or illegal activity.
- Analyse site performance and user behaviour.
3. Health-Related Information
ZenPrimary does not collect clinical or diagnostic health data. Reviews you write should not include sensitive medical details that identify others.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share with service providers who help us operate the site, when required by law, or in the event of a merger or acquisition.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, unless we are required to retain it by law.
6. Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing contact@zenprimary.com. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm once your data has been deleted.
7. Cookies
You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not work.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system is 100% secure.
9. Access & Correction
You may request access to or correction of the information we hold. Contact us below.
10. Children
ZenPrimary is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.

How ZenPrimary handles your health data
Notice version 2026-10-19. This is the same notice shown in the ZenPrimary app on first use.
ZenPrimary is free for every user and stays free. We do not sell data, show ads, or share your cycle information with anyone. Please read this short notice and choose what you agree to.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, mobile number and a password hash.
- Cycle data you log: period days, flow, pain, mood, symptoms and notes.
- Tracker preferences: typical cycle and period length.
- Appointment bookings you make with a clinic through the app.
- If you redeem a clinic or doctor invite code: which clinic issued it.
- Device country (India, Australia or United States) chosen in the app.
What we do not collect
- No advertising, analytics or attribution software is built into the app.
- No location tracking, contacts, photos (except a screenshot you choose to import) or health-platform data.
- Your date of birth stays on your phone and is never sent to us.
Why we use it
- To show your cycle day, predict your next period and fertile window, and build your insights and reports.
- To let you book and manage appointments with clinics you choose.
- To keep your account secure and to respond when you contact us.
Who can see it
- You. Your cycle data is encrypted on our servers with a key specific to your account.
- Nobody else. No clinic, doctor, advertiser or data broker receives your cycle data. A clinic only ever sees what you explicitly share with it, such as a report you choose to send.
- No third party processes your health data, except the optional AI screenshot import described below.
Optional AI features
- If you turn on AI features, a screenshot you choose to import from another tracker app is sent to a third-party AI provider to read the dates. The image is used only for that request and is not stored by us.
- AI features are off unless you switch them on. With them off, screenshot import still works using on-device text recognition that never leaves your phone.
- Predictions and insights are informational only. ZenPrimary is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Please discuss anything that worries you with a doctor.
Your controls
- Export your cycles and symptoms as CSV or a one-page PDF from Insights at any time.
- Delete your account and all your data from the You tab, or at zenprimary.com/delete-account. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
- Withdraw this consent in Settings. Withdrawing logs you out and you can delete your account at the same time.
- Accounts inactive for 24 months are deleted after an email reminder.
Where it is kept and your rights
- Data is stored on servers operated for ZenPrimary and protected with encryption in transit and at rest.
- India: ZenPrimary acts as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. You must be 18 or older to use the app. You may access, correct, erase and withdraw consent for your data, and complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
- Australia: the Australian Privacy Principles apply; you may access and correct your data and complain to the OAIC.
- United States: consumer health data laws such as Washington MHMDA apply; we do not sell or share consumer health data and you may request access or deletion.
